The Ibhayi Small Business Chamber (ISBC) was born from a powerful idea: that small businesses achieve more when they stand together.
In June 2019, 140 small business owners gathered at the Southern Sun Marine Hotel in Gqeberha with a shared purpose—to create a united and influential voice for micro, small and medium enterprises. That historic meeting laid the foundation for a chamber that continues to champion entrepreneurship, collaboration and sustainable economic growth across Nelson Mandela Bay.
Today, ISBC represents a growing community of business owners who believe that strong local businesses build strong local communities.

Our Mission
ISBC exists to empower small businesses through advocacy, business development, networking, education and ethical leadership. We work to ensure that the interests of our members are represented while creating practical opportunities for businesses to grow.
Our objectives include promoting free enterprise, representing small business to government and industry, encouraging ethical business practices, sharing valuable market information, supporting trade and collaboration, and operating as a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the advancement of small business.
